Fraudulent passport case was granted residency by an Immigration Judge.

This month a client who had entered the US with a fraudulent passport was granted residency by an Immigration Judge. This client had filed three previously applications with USCIS and all were denied. He arrived in the US 15 years ago and had traveled from his native country to reunite with the woman he loved.

After using someone else’ passport to enter the US, he contacted his love and the eventually married. They have one child and have build a successful business here in the US. Our office helped establish that our client’s deportation would result in extreme hardship to his US citizen spouse and he is now a permanent resident of the US. Despite three denials of his applications with USCIS, the Immigration Judge determined that our client had established that he qualified for resident alien status and our office is pleased that we have helped provide this deserving individual with the freedom that he had been fighting to obtain for so long.
